A solar collector is a device for collecting solar radiation and transfer the energy to fluid passing in contact with it. Utilization of solar energy requires solar collectors.
These are generally of two types.
(i) Non- concentrating (or) flat plate solar collector.
(ii) Concentrating (focusing) type solar collector
